Our mission is to help promote tango in Newfoundland and Labrador.

WORKING COMMITTEES

Education Committee

The education committee deals with our tango club and community dance skill development. It will attempt to assess skill levels, plan skill development, organize workshops. “figure of the week”, and any other educational programs.

Marketing & Promotion Committee

Our tango club will market and promote events to prospective new members and will disseminate information to club members and the public at large. It deals with all media, including business cards, ribbons shoe bags, T-shirts, and anything that can be used to promote the club identity or “brand”.

Music Committee

The music committee chooses equipment to play music at practicas, milongas, and workshops. It also maintains the club library of music, contributed on CD, or purchased from iTunes store. Club members can make up playlists from this library, choosing tunes to make up tandas, with cortina separators, to be used at club events.

Social Committee 

Social events let us all use our tango dancing skill. The social committee organizes volunteers for special activities, milongas, and assigns tasks at our weekly practica.
